Guidelines

• Provide shoes and socks for all Brunswick County Schools’
• students on an as-needed basis
•  All shoes are purchased by PWM following referral by a
• teacher, school counselor, social worker, administrator, or
• parent facilitator, as well as a parent/guardian referral.
•  These shoes are provided to meet the desperate needs of
• children who would not have shoes unless someone
• intervened on their behalf.
•  Athletic shoes are purchased to provide safety and enable
• full participation in all school activities and sports.
•  Special attention is given to shoes purchased for students
• who desire to participate in school sports.
